UrbanPromise’s Alumni Support Program is a continuation of support for life after UPLA — it leverages the mentoring relationship that StreetLeaders developed with UPLA to help them succeed in college, the workforce and "adulting".

    Summer Internships

    Alumni have the opportunity to return to UPLA to coach a team of high school StreetLeaders, learn the ins and outs of non-profit leadership, fundraise, advocate in the community and get paid a stipend!

    local meet ups

    StreetLeader Alumni stay connected to each other & community via local meet-ups throughout the school year. Each meet-up focuses on a key area of support - social, emotional, spiritual, or financial.

  • Financial aid

    UPLA helps assist our Alumni in completing the financial aid process each year, providing education on credit building, and how to file taxes and finding and applying for additional scholarships or internships.

  • Giving Back

    Our dedicated Alumni leaders stay engaged by giving back to the next generation of StreetLeaders by leading development sessions, helping with scholarship apps, and participating in panels sharing their experiences!
