Meg Grey is the heart behind UrbanPromise Los Angeles’ college access and leadership development programs. As the Director of Programs, she has guided dozens of first-generation, immigrant, and low-income students through the college admissions process, coaching them to 100% acceptance at four-year universities (since 2019!) , including UCLA, UC Berkeley, and Pomona College. Meg also directs the StreetLeader Program, managing high school students as they grow into confident StreetLeaders, both in their communities and beyond.

Beyond college counseling, Meg wears many hats—creating curriculum and training materials that equip teens with life and leadership skills, while also overseeing all of UrbanPromise LA’s marketing and communications. Whether she’s crafting a compelling story for donors or cheering on a student’s big college acceptance, Meg finds deep joy in the relationships she builds and the futures she helps shape.
